6 point guide to lockdown

1. We are getting active again!

Especially at the beginning of the lockdown (spring 2020), many people have found the time and motivation to look after themselves properly again and to be active in sports. Regardless of whether endurance sports such as running, cycling, other HIT workouts or weight training in the gym or home gym, we all got active. Some of these sporting activities have unfortunately been taken from us by politics, but despite a year full of restrictions, 75% of the people are still active in sport. So keep going and keep working on yourselves, because that's the best thing you can do for yourself at any given time!

2. We pay attention to a healthy and balanced diet

With the amount of new time and the will to improve, many people have forgotten their old vices such as fast food and ready meals and started to discover cooking for themselves. And I'm not just talking about our Corona bakers who have bought empty the full range of yeast, flour and baking powder. This is more about the people who have started to question dishes and cook them themselves, only to then realize that cooking is not a bad idea at all. In addition, a healthy and balanced diet in combination with the sporting activity level from point 1 is a further step to improve yourself.

3. We find new entertainment options

At the beginning we could meet in restaurants, gyms or with friends and do a lot together. However, at some point the tightening came and restricted us further, so that many people were simply fed up with Netflix, Amazon prime, Disney Plus etc. and no longer knew what to do. So many have looked around for other entertainment options and thought about what to do. Most people think of something like jigsaw puzzles, gambling, knitting or online casinos and these people are actually right. Most Germans used these activities to entertain themselves and have grown rapidly.

4. We learn new things

As already mentioned in point 3, many people have started puzzling or knitting and have learned a lot of new things or awakened talents. The creative streak has also awakened and has brought many people to painting, handicrafts, craftsmen or reading. For many, a new hobby has arisen out of desperation and this new passion for the hobby has given you many wonderful moments.

5. We focus on what is important

Even if we are prevented from seeing our loved ones as often as possible due to the lockdown, many remember the beautiful moments we had with these people. We use a variety of new possibilities and maintain our contact virtually. We also remember old acquaintances and try to reestablish contact with these people.

6. We plan ahead

Since we currently have a lot of time and a lot has been taken from us, most people plan in advance what they want to do as soon as everyday life returns. No matter whether it is a meal with friends or family in the restaurant, a relaxing day in the Spar or the nightlife where you can make new contacts. But vacation planning is also an important topic, because with the current offers, many are looking forward to their first real vacation after the lockdown.
